Exhibition, Italy, Project EroticaMENTE 4th edition , Milano

From 18th to 31st October 2014

After Taormina (2010) and Rome (2011 and 2012), Italian and foreign artists will be selected for participation in the fourth edition of "EroticaMENTE to be held this time in Milan, at the wonderful exhibition space Milan Art & Events Center (300mq), not far from Piazza del Duomo.

"Eroticism is to give the body the suggestions of the mind," was the quote from Georges Perros (Papiers collés, 1960), which introduced the first edition of "EroticaMENTE" (the italian title has two meaning: in erotic way and an erotic mind). That small sentence was enough to resume the main theme of this exhibition, intended as a container for all that creativity which refers to an erotic thought and to his power over the inner emotions just before the physical declaration. Not else is Eroticism that an idea, a personal conception of what may be the physical desire, love, passion, betrayal even, or pain. In whatever form it is expressed - passionate, ironic, irreverent - it is still a reaction to a charm suffered in an unexplained and uncontrolled way. A fatal attraction between the body and the immaterial substance.
Once more several contemporary artists are invited to tell their sense of Eros, with their respective forms of expression - painting, sculpture, photography, digital art, installation, video - eachone with its own personal and artistic peculiarities.
